Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s)

1. What type of therapy do you offer?
I offer individual therapy, couples therapy, parenting support, and supervision. I use EMDR, attachment-informed approaches, nervous-system regulation, and practical tools to help you feel heard, safe, and supported.

2. Do you see children?
I work primarily with adults, parents, and couples. While I support parents in understanding and helping their children, I don’t provide therapy directly to children.

3. Do you take insurance?
Yes! I accept a variety of plans including Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross, Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Anthem, Oscar Health, and more. If you don’t see your plan listed, feel free to reach out and I can help you check coverage or discuss self-pay options.

4. Do you offer telehealth sessions?
Yes! Telehealth is available for clients across California. It’s an easy way to access therapy from home while keeping your sessions private and safe.

5. How do I schedule a session?
You can schedule a free 15-minute consultation through my website, or email/call me directly. I’ll help you find a time that works and answer any questions you have before our first session.

6. What is your approach like?
I keep therapy warm, supportive, and down-to-earth. My goal is to help you feel safe, understood, and empowered, while providing practical tools you can use in your everyday life.

7. How long are sessions?
Most sessions are 50–60 minutes. During your first session, we’ll get to know each other and discuss your goals so we can create a plan that fits your needs.

8. What if I’m nervous about starting therapy?
It’s completely normal to feel nervous about starting therapy or reaching out for the first time. You don’t have to have everything figured out—just taking a small step is enough. If you’re ready, you can this link and it will open a pre-filled email template to make reaching out a little easier. I’ll respond as soon as possible, and we can take it from there at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

9. Do you work with high-achievers or people with ADHD?
Absolutely! I love supporting high-achieving adults and people with ADHD. Together we can work on managing stress, improving focus, and finding balance so you feel more in control and grounded.

10. What is your cancellation policy?
I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. If a session is missed or canceled without enough notice, a fee of $75 applies. If we can reschedule within the same week, it won’t count as a late cancellation.
